柳坑社区是鲤南镇唯一的社区，位于仙游县城南大门，隔兰溪与县城相对，北面傍着木兰溪，辖区面积约1平方千米。[1][2]

社区内有一段宋代老街，长约400米，横贯中部，另有古建筑、祠堂和宫庙十余座，其中陈可大祠等列为县级文物保护单位。[2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

相传古时街头有一条深流圳坑，坑边柳树成荫，地名由此而来。唐朝初期此地属清源镇，宋至清称南桥头，属永兴里；明代称柳坑市，民国时属中山镇，称柳坑保。[1]

建国后，柳坑街划入第一区。1952年它与迎勋街合为南桥街；1961年改设柳坑大队；1964年称柳坑街居委会，1967年又叫团结街，1982年才恢复柳坑街的名字，此后成立了社区居民委员会。鲤南镇自2002年起管辖此地。[1]

人口与教育[edit]

博雅地名网载社区本地人口2200多人、600多户，另有外来经商、打工和落户的人口一千余人。百度百科载总户数816户、总人口2368人，两者均未注年份。[1][3]

宋代这里办过禹轩学堂，明清时设私塾三处。清乾隆七年（1742年），林斯飞以明经中式，获授侯官教谕。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

县级文物有陈可大祠（第二批县级文物保护单位）、南门桥（第一批）、虎啸坛抗倭遗址（第一批）和革命烈士纪念碑（第二批），另有柳坑蜚南宫为县一般不可移动文物点。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予柳坑社区「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
