埔尾村坐落在度尾镇西部，东面是剑山村，西面紧邻屏山村，南侧连着云水村，北侧和云居村、霞溪村为邻。仙永县道由南向北穿过村子，距县城约23公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

埔尾村是明代户部尚书郑纪的故里。郑纪于明天顺四年（1460年）中进士，此后在福建倡建鹿鸣、步云、朝天、卧龙等桥梁，并兴办学堂。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

上郑的郑祠（当地称郑府），是郑纪的故居，为县级文物保护单位。村内另有古瓷窑址，据传始建于南北朝，至明朝停烧。岱仙岩古寺位于岱尖山，建于明代。[1]
