古店村位于郊尾镇西部，西南靠大帽山和洪山，东北与湖宅、芹林两地接界。村子呈东北走向，海拔46米。[1]
村名的缘由出自明末清初的一段往事：当时有商人在香田里南侧开了几家店铺，后因时局动荡，店铺相继关门，村因此得名古店。[1]
2024年1月，村子获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时，村地分为西埔、马墘两个村，同属香田里。民国十七年改为古店保，村子归香南乡。中华人民共和国成立初期隶属第三区。[1]
1950年至1952年属第四区盖尾，1955年至1956年3月划入枫亭区。1956年6月，古店同梅塘、宝坑、湖宅、伍狮合设古店乡；1957年改属郊尾区，1958年归郊尾公社并设古店大队。1984年设古店村村民委员会，隶属郊尾乡；1985年3月改属郊尾镇。[1]
村下辖下新厝、西埔、山边、白岭、古店、马墘等九个自然村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
古店陈氏民居在松树下自然村，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，为仙游县一般不可移动文物点。[1]
古店逊兴庙位于古店自然村，古店昭灵宫位于马乾自然村，均属古建筑，同为仙游县一般不可移动文物点。[1]
