度顶村位于榜头镇东北部，离镇政府驻地约1.5公里。其东是后堡村，西与仙水村接壤，南面是象洋村，北边连着官舍村。村庄由度顶、湖下、炉半三个自然村组成。[1]

地名[edit]

原名“路顶”，缘于建国前一条从盖尾镇通往钟山与何岭关的大道穿过村前。后来，三个自然村从后堡大队分离，独立后改名度顶村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后，宫舍、后堡与度顶三个村委会曾合为后堡，1960年又分为三个大队。1984年设立度顶村委会，隶属榜头乡；次年榜头改镇，它也随之属镇。[2]
