何麓村位于榜头镇东北部。村名中的“何”取自明代通往钟山、永泰、闽清等地的何岭路，这条古道是当时做生意者必经之路。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年8月仙游解放后，榜头与兰溪两地合为仙游县第五区公所，本地那时称何麓乡。1956年并入后堡大乡。[2]
1957年称何星营，1958年9月建立人民高级社，此后又称何麓高级社。1960年体制下放，改为何麓大队。1961年5月拆队，分为何麓、东宫、岭下三个大队。[2]
1978年改设管理委员会；1985年榜头改镇后，此地大队改名为何麓村民委员会。[2]
