后堡村是榜头镇东北部的一个行政村，村名因后山形似城堡而得名。与何麓、东宫、官舍、新郑等村相邻。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立后，宫舍、后堡、度顶三个村民委员会合并为后堡乡，1960年分为三个大队。[2]

文物[edit]

后堡黄氏民居位于蔡埔下厝42号，是仙游县一般不可移动文物点，属古建筑。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年、2021年和2022年，村先后上榜阿里研究院公布的「淘宝村」名单。[1]
