云庄村位于榜头镇东南部，距镇政府驻地四里，背靠昆仑山，面临木兰溪，由七个自然村组成。[1]

村民在云雾缭绕的半山腰定居，形成了这个自然村落，村名由此而来。[1]

文物与文化[edit]

云庄王迥御史祠是仙游县第六批县级文物保护单位，属古建筑。[1]

云山书院始建于清光绪年间（1875年—1908年），1919年重修，供奉“三一教”教主林龙江。书院内保存着1950年李耕所作的壁画。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，村被认定为「2020年度莆田市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。[1]
