紫洋社区位于榜头镇东南部，村部距镇中心约1公里，濑榜公路贯穿境内。社区内有古典家具加工厂和精品工艺品厂家。[1]

地名[edit]

宋朝时有朱姓在此聚居，人口众多，分为顶朱、下朱两处，统称“朱子洋”。“子”与“紫”同音，故改称“紫洋”。[1]

文化[edit]

朱阳宫俗称紫洋宫，在紫洋社区内。它最初是南宋理学家朱熹讲学的地方，称“朱阳书社”。明成化八年（1472年）扩建后供奉妈祖，并改称朱阳宫。清乾隆时重修，光绪年间成为湄洲妈祖祖庙的分灵宫庙。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月，紫洋社区被阿里研究院列入「2020年淘宝村」名单；2021年，又列入「2021年淘宝村」名单；2022年10月再次上榜「2022年淘宝村」。2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
