荷珠村隶属福建省莆田市仙游县枫亭镇，位于镇东南部，地处湄洲湾西北岸的水陆交接处，福厦高速公路出口在村内，距镇政府约2.5公里。[1][4]

村名的由来与田野上的三处土墩和村后的宝石山有关：土墩里的莲花墩相传是莲花穴，宝石山形如宝珠，二者合为荷珠。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，先人由漳州海田迁到此地。1926年，此地俗称荷珠堡。[2][3]

1961年，此地设为荷珠生产大队。1984年，它改称荷珠村民委员会，归属枫亭镇。[2]

文化[edit]

村中有清代的振兴宫，还有仿古建造的宏伟祠堂。[1]
