兰友社区在枫亭镇南部的枫慈溪边，隔溪与镇中心相对。它的东南方是学士社区，西北方接九社村。[1]

社区原名渔街。为纪念明代忠臣林兰友，社区改名兰友。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地为枫亭驿的辖地，民国时划入枫亭镇，并设兰友保。中华人民共和国成立初期称兰友乡，1956年归枫亭区，1958年后设兰友大队。[2]

1984年成立兰友居委会，隶枫亭乡；之后改为兰友社区居民委员会。[2]

文化[edit]

自唐宋以来，社区就有水产销售市场，莆仙惠一带的商人常来此经商。[1]

2005年，省里把枫亭元宵游灯列为首批省级非遗，兰友社区是这一习俗的重要组成部分。2006年，社区被莆田市授予「文化社区」称号。[1]

境内有太平桥、太平塔、根锁桥、集英亭、林兰友祠堂等古迹，其中集英亭与林兰友祠堂二处为县级文物保护单位。[1]

据百度百科，活水亭是南宋陆秀夫成婚的遗址。[4]
