历史沿革[edit]
清代以前此地属连江里，又称龙兴宫学士里。民国时期设立保甲，此地称学士保，是当时枫亭区公所与镇公所的所在地。[3]
1958年此地改称学士大队；1984年设立学士街居民委员会，隶枫亭乡。1996年，它被改建为学士社区居民委员会，归枫亭镇管辖。[3]
文化[edit]
唐初，陈政与其子陈元光率部入闽，曾把家眷安顿在学士街的陈庐园。宋代蔡襄与母亲卢氏住在此地，元代状元林亨也居住于学士街。[1]
2005年，省里把枫亭元宵游灯列为首批省级非遗，学士社区是这一习俗的重要组成部分。[2]
社区先后获得荣誉：2021年3月被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」，2021年11月被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」，2024年12月上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
林肇祺旧居与学士龙兴宫，都是仙游县一般不可移动文物点。林碧峰墓与新店「蓝溪捣月」石刻，同属仙游县首批县级文保单位。[1]
蔡襄母亲卢氏所用的洗衣石，上刻林肇祺题写的诗文，被列为县级文物保护单位。社区内另有天王院、浩义堂、东岳庙等古建筑。[2]
