坝垄社区位于鲤城街道东北部，因境内贝龙宫而得名；因避“龙”字，名称各加“土”旁。[1]

社区村委会原设北一环路瑞和居旁，该处现为县委、县政府新址。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归公贵里，民国时期设有坝垄保。1949年9月14日，仙游县人民政府颁布第一号令，撤销旧式保甲，设立坝垄村公所。[1]

1956年，蜚山、龙泉、万福与坝垄一并入城北乡。1958年9月人民公社建立，城北乡变作东方生产大队。1966年，此地改设坝垄村委会；1977年，成为坝垄生产大队；1982年，村委会重新组建；2003年，村转为居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

坝垅贝龙宫位于宫边居民小组。博雅地名网列为仙游县一般不可移动文物点，百度百科则称其为市级文物保护单位。[1][2]

坝垅凤飞寺遗址位于阮里山，为一般不可移动文物点。[1]
