岱前村临海，村北侧的岱前山被规划为木材加工区的生态园区。村内传统经济依靠滩涂养殖，以海蛏为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名中的「岱」在莆田方言中指海蛎，村民养殖海蛎；村名中的第二字，据称与1958年合并成立大队的历史有关。[1]

文化[edit]

岱前村于2022年12月被福建省农业农村厅确定为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」，主导产业为海蛏养殖。[1]
