地名[edit]
港内山峦形如螺壳，土色黄赤，故旧称黄螺港。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，此地成为忠门公社的港里大队；1984年改属忠门乡；1997年归山亭乡，名为港里村。2011年起隶属山亭镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
贤良港天后祖祠位于港里村，为妈祖出生地故居，维基百科记为第三批福建省文物保护单位。[3][4]
贤良港古码头遗址创建于宋代，1991年重修，修后平均高约5米，全长约42米。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2025年11月，港里村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。2023年11月，被认定为「2023年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
2022年10月，经福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2021年4月，获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。2015年10月，入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」名单。[1]
