蒋山村是山亭镇下辖的行政村，东、南、北三面临海，以紫菜养殖为主要特色产业。[1]
地名[edit]
此村原名东山村委会，因与别村重名而改为今名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村落的开基可追溯到北宋。1958年归山亭公社利山生产大队；1971年从利山分离，称东山大队。1986年更名蒋山大队，1989年成立蒋山村委会，所属为莆田县忠门镇；1997年又划入莆田县山亭乡。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2025年3月，蒋山村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。2023年11月，被认定为「第三批全国乡村治理示范村」。2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]
2021年3月，蒋山村被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。2020年12月，蒋山村入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，产业为紫菜养殖。[1]
