东乌垞村是山亭镇下辖的行政村，原属乌垞村，拆村时因位于东侧而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属兴化府新安里。民国时为下圹区西埔乡乌垞村的二保，建国后归下圹区山亭乡管理，1958年并入忠门人民公社的乌垞大队。1998年拆村，改设东乌垞村委会，隶属莆田县山亭乡。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

东乌垞黄氏民居为清代建成的二进合院式建筑，建筑面积823平方米，系莆田市第九批市级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，东乌垞村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
