历史沿革[edit]
始建于明代。1958年利山村隶属忠门公社利山大队，下设14个村民小组，此后归山亭乡，山亭乡改设镇后仍属山亭镇。2015年1月7日改为社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年3月，利山社区被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]
