西亭村是福建省莆田市秀屿区湄洲镇下辖的行政村，位于湄洲岛上。[1]村民由忠门镇西亭大队迁出独立建村，沿用了原来的地名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落始建于清代。1958年归忠门公社管辖，1961年属湄洲公社，1984年称湄洲乡西亭村，1992年改属湄洲镇，2002年起属秀屿区湄洲镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

樟莲寺位于本村。该寺早年称樟楼寺，年代可上溯到明宣德时期，即1426年至1435年之间，1929年另行迁建。[1]建筑为土木结构的二进合院，屋顶为悬山式。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]2023年11月，被认定为「2023年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
