浮叶村隶属南日镇，位于镇政府驻地东侧约6.8公里处，处在后叶村与南部村委会之间，村委会驻浮叶自然村。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

村名各取浮斗、后叶两个自然村的名字中一字合成。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在宋元隶感德乡南匿里，明清隶四区南匿里。民国初归省府直接管辖，民国23年（1934年）属福清县九区，民国24年与25年为南日特种区，民国29年划归莆田县南日镇，民国30年（1941年）改属南日镇浮叶村。[2]

新中国成立后，1949年属十三区浮叶村，1950年与1952年先后属十三区浮叶乡、二十四区浮叶乡，1954年至1955年称二十四区（南日）浮叶乡。1957年为南日镇浮叶高级社，1958年为南日公社浮叶大队，1984年设南日镇浮叶村委会。[2]

村况[edit]

村委会统辖4个自然村，下设3个村民小组。博雅地名网记为827户、4024人，未注年份。聚落形似葫芦。[2]

耕地394亩，甘薯、大小麦为主，兼种花生；林地5亩，以木麻黄与相思树为主。土特产有虾皮、三角鱼与海带。村内有小学与医疗所，有电灯，水陆交通便利，岛上公路通村，有客车。村中还设有水产冷冻厂1所。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年3月，村庄被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]

2022年12月，村庄获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
