西柯村于1965年由山墩、下埕、西柯三个大队合并建立西柯大队，后改为村。2021年10月与2022年10月，它两次列入淘宝村名单。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

1913年这里属平海区，之后归埭头的西柯乡管辖。1928年属平海第五区，1932年设西柯保，隶属平海镇。中华人民共和国成立后归埭头第十二区，1952年成立西柯乡，1957年改为东湖乡下辖的西柯村，1958年成为埭头公社西柯大队。1984年改设西柯村委会，1994年称平海镇西柯村。[2]
