筶杯村是埭头镇下辖的行政村，位于兴化湾内，由东筶杯岛和西筶杯岛两个小岛组成，陆地面积0.71平方千米，全村设4个村民小组。村民以捕鱼和海上养殖为业。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

境内有两座山，形状像古时的阴阳杯，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元两代，村属崇福乡。明清时改属六区的武盛里。民国初年（1913年）划归平海镇，民国十二年（即1923年）又改属五区。[2]

交通[edit]

村与陆地的联系依靠渡船。[3]

经济[edit]

村民以捕鱼与海上养殖为生，生蚝养殖是主导产业。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年9月，村入选莆田市的“一村一品”专业村名录，以生蚝养殖为主。同年12月，省级“一村一品”专业村的认定也落在本村，产业仍是生蚝。[2]
