潘宅村是埭头镇下辖的行政村，位于兴化湾西南侧，东临大蚶山，西靠后海海产养殖区。全村辖12个自然村，设31个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
1965年，两个大队合并，仍沿用“潘宅”的旧名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1965年合并后称潘宅大队；1984年起为潘宅村委会，而2002年以后归秀屿区埭头镇管辖。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以海产养殖和农业种植为主，村里还种植青葱，2004年成立了青葱种植协会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年6月，村入选2021年度莆田市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2021年12月，村以海蛎养殖入选福建省“一村一品”示范村的名单。[1]
2023年2月，村上榜福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单。2024年2月，村成为第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇的创建对象之一。[1]
