地名由来[edit]
村址在明清时期属武盛里，村名由此而来。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年为6区北渚保的所在；1950年改北渚乡；1952年又转入12区的北渚乡；1955年改隶埭头区北渚乡。[2]
经济[edit]
村民收入主要靠劳务输出，村内的金银珠宝加工与销售自成体系，形成“产—供—销”的链条。[1][3]
荣誉[edit]
村为省级乡村振兴试点村，也是秀屿区革命老区的基点村。[1]
2023年11月，村被认定为2023年度莆田市中级版「绿盈乡村」；2022年10月，村上榜2022年淘宝村名单。[2]
