后温村是埭头镇下辖的行政村，在镇的东北部，与东峤镇和北高镇相接，离镇中心大约6公里。村辖区面积约4.3平方千米，村内有市级文物保护单位水仙宫。[2]
地名由来[edit]
明代，村中开基的先祖由邻近的东峤镇迁来，见此地背靠大海、四季恒温，便定居下来，村因此得名。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年时属12区北渚保。1986年设后温村委会，此后自2002年起属秀屿区埭头镇。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
水仙宫位于后温自然村，建于明代，清乾隆十九年（1754）重建，由前殿与大殿组成。[1]
经济[edit]
村里依托沿海的区位，发展珠宝首饰与水晶宝石加工，并有石雕等行业。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，村被命名为2023年福建省卫生村。[1]
