地名由来[edit]
村由三个旧村合并组成，合并时取其中的“后郑”作为村名。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年设后郑大队，1984年村制确立，2002年归入秀屿区。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村民收入以外出务工为主，同时从事海产养殖，兴化湾沿岸的紫菜养殖面积达3000余亩；村中还有石材开采。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2012年10月，司法部与民政部把后郑村列入第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）名单；2023年经复核，建议保留该称号。[1][2]
2021年2月，省级文明村镇（社区）名单公布，后郑村入选（名单涵盖2018年至2020年度）。同年11月，福建省爱卫办授予后郑村“2021年福建省卫生村”称号。[2]
