黄瓜岛原为黄土岗，村名由此而来。黄瓜岛面积0.67平方千米，人多地少，交通不便，水资源稀缺。[1][2]
淇沪陆岛交通码头是进出黄瓜岛的唯一通道。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
黄瓜村是革命老区，闽中海上游击队曾以岛上为根据地。[1][2]
经济[edit]
岛上居民靠渔业与外出务工谋生。岛上养殖场与专业合作社各有若干，海带、龙须菜的养殖面积分别约为500亩与400亩。[2]
