汀塘社区位于上塘社区东侧，北靠笏埭公路，距镇政府约5公里。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
汀塘村在1958年归笏石公社，1961年隶上塘公社，此后以汀塘大队的名义归东峤公社管辖。1984年改称东峤乡汀塘村，1985年起归东峤镇。社区居民委员会2019年11月4日成立，隶秀屿区东峤镇。[1]
著名人物[edit]
欧宗荣，1964年1月出生于汀塘村，该村今为本社区。[3]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，汀塘社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年12月，上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
