历史沿革[edit]
宋时此地属兴化府盛武里，名为南渚，渚林的建村可上溯到唐末宋初。1958年起归莆田县东峤人民公社管理，1984年改称东峤乡渚林村，1985年起隶东峤镇。渚林社区居民委员会设立于2019年11月4日，隶秀屿区东峤镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
九龙山白云洞是明代莆田三圣之一卓晚春的祖庙，现为县级文物保护单位，景区被列为「国家3A级旅游景区」。[2][3]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，渚林社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年9月，被认定为「2023年莆田市一村一品专业村」（休闲旅游）；2023年12月，被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」（乡村旅游）。[1]
