忠门社区是福建省莆田市秀屿区忠门镇下辖的社区，城乡分类上属主城区。社区所在地古称浮曦洲，社区名称的来历与唐代的一桩旌表有关。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代，一位县令感念刺史林蕴获追赠「忠烈」的谥号，其后裔迁居于此，当地便设立中门村坊以表彰门第，地名由此得来。[1]

此地宋代称「忠烈门」，明清时称「兴化府」，解放初称忠沁乡，其后历经忠门大队、西埭社区等阶段，2018年5月22日改设为忠门社区居民委员会。[1]
