西温村位于礼泉半岛西北侧，西面临海，距东庄镇政府约5公里。村名取西面临海、四季温暖之意。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，西温与石码合为石码大队。1985年，西温分出单独设村，隶属莆田县东庄乡。此后，村子在1988年划入秀屿镇，2000年改由东庄镇管辖，2002年归秀屿区。2007年，村委会迁址重建。[1]
地理环境[edit]
城港大道与莆秀高速公路穿过村境，向莆铁路秀屿支线、工业北大道也在此经过，交通便利。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
西温戏台位于西温自然村。这座戏台初建于明末，经清代重建，1932年又加修缮。它采用石木结构，外形呈T字形，属莆田市文物保护单位。[1]
