西徐村属福建省莆田市秀屿区笏石街道，村名取西山与徐厝两个自然村的名字各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年隶属第5区徐苓保，1950年为第5区徐岭乡，1952年改属笏石区徐岭乡，1954年划入第16区西徐乡。[1]

1955年改称笏石西徐乡，1957年并入苓下乡的西徐高级社，1958年设笏石公社西徐大队，1984年改为笏石镇西徐村委会。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

2020年11月，西徐村被认定为「2020年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]

2021年3月，西徐村被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]
