坝津村属福建省莆田市秀屿区笏石街道，村名取坝边与东津两个自然村的名字各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年隶属第五区坝津保，1950年为第五区坝津乡，1952年改属笏石区坝津乡，1954年划入第16区坝津乡。[1]

1955年仍分属第16区与笏石区的坝津乡，1956年归笏石区，1957年组成笏石乡的坝津高级社，1958年设笏石公社坝津大队，1984年改为笏石镇坝津村委会。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

2021年2月，坝津村列入「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

福建省爱卫办在2021年11月把「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号授予坝津村。[1]
