福岭村位于北高镇东南部，南面靠着五侯山，距镇中心3公里。村名中的“福”取“福运连连”之意，村子依傍的山岭则是村名的来历。2021年6月，福岭村入选福建省第四批省级传统村落名单；2025年11月，村子得到认定，成为福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村。[1][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初，此地属福井保，并入福厝乡，1953年划为高福乡所辖，1957年建起大队。1974年析出，另成福岭大队；1984年起称北高乡福岭村，2002年纳入荔城区北高镇。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，省爱卫办把福岭村认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，省农业农村厅将本村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

东田自然村的通明殿为莆田市文物保护单位，殿内留有清代至民国的碑刻等文物。[5]
