高洋村北临兴化湾，距镇中心5公里。村名的来历是地势较高，地面又平坦得像一片洋面。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

早在宋、元时，此地属崇福乡；明代隶属荔石五区的兴福里，清代又转到六区；民国年间划入五区高楼保一带。新中国成立初组成高楼乡，合作化期间并入高福乡。1961年北高公社设立高洋大队，1984年起叫北高乡高洋村，2002年后属荔城区北高镇。[2]

经济[edit]

村子北侧靠海，滩涂与海岸线都较长，水产养殖在当地发展较快。[1]
