历史沿革[edit]
宋、元时此地属崇福乡，明、清归兴福里，民国时隶属笏石区。1951年归汀江乡，1958年建立大队。1960年至1965年间，它先后归属不同的公社与大队；1966年改称东风大队，1984年起称北高乡东乡村，2002年划入荔城区。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，村子被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
