厝柄村是新度镇下辖的行政村，村中有龙津庙，为莆田市市级文物保护单位。[1][4]

地名[edit]

原名珠壩，后因村形状像手柄，改称厝柄。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

早年属感德乡，明清时归四区南力里，民国时期为黄石镇、兴溪乡与樟胜保所辖。新中国成立后归三区新度乡，1961年设厝柄大队，1984年为渠桥乡下的厝柄村。1992年改属新度镇，2002年归荔城区。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙津庙又称莆阳太师庙，建于元代中叶，用以纪念抗元名将陈文龙。此后屡经修缮，现存建筑带有清代的特点。因城秀公路拓宽，庙宇迁建；竣工时，台南市市长施治明题写「龙津祖庙」匾额。[4]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，厝柄村三次入选「淘宝村」名单。[1]
