港利村是新度镇下辖的行政村，位于莆田南洋平原、木兰溪下游，距镇中心约2.5千米。[1][4]

地名[edit]

村地处海域，早年有大片海滩。滩涂养殖与海上捕捞需要港口，因此修建海港，村名称为港利。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

早年属感德乡，明清时归四区南力里。民国时期先后隶属黄石镇、港利乡、熙宁乡的港利保。新中国成立后归五区港利乡，其后并入清江乡的港利高级社，又归黄石公社清江大队。1961年由渠桥公社设立港利大队，1984年改称港利村。此后归新度镇，2002年起属荔城区。[1][3]

经济[edit]

禽苗业是村中的传统产业之一。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，港利村获「2021年福建省卫生村」命名；2021年3月，获「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」称号。[1]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，港利村三次入选「淘宝村」名单。[1][4]
