白埕村是新度镇下辖的行政村，位于木兰溪下游岳公段，属城乡结合部，距镇中心约2.5千米，距市区约3千米。城秀公路与木兰溪穿行于村境。[1]
地名[edit]
此地原为大片海滩，早年多白色沙土，故名白埕。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
宋元时隶属兴化军莆田县的感德乡南匿里，明清属兴化府莆田县四区南力里。1933年归莆田县港利乡，1949年隶属黄石镇港利保。其后并入港利高级社，又归黄石公社清江大队。1961年白埕设大队，隶属渠桥公社；1984年改为渠桥乡白埕村。此后归新度镇，2002年起属荔城区。[1][3]
经济[edit]
村中有鞋厂、饲料厂、印染厂等民营企业，半数以上农户从事禽苗的生产与饲养。[1]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，白埕村三次入选「淘宝村」名单。[1]
