下坂村是新度镇下辖的行政村，位于壶公山脚下，距镇中心约2.5千米。村里原为渠桥乡的乡址所在。[1]

地名[edit]

村民建居在壶公山麓的斜坡上，因地势较低，村名称为下坂。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地早年属感德乡，明清时归南力里。民国时期几经并入黄石镇、渠桥镇与兰溪乡的霞坂保。新中国成立后，村域分归大坂乡与渠桥乡下坂高级社。1963年设渠桥公社，1965年公社社址迁来本村。[1][3][4]

1984年为渠桥乡下的下坂村；1992年改属新度镇，2002年起归荔城区。[1][4]

经济[edit]

村里原有大片荒山，现已种植枇杷、龙眼、芒果等果树，是镇内重要的水果基地之一。[1]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，下坂村三次入选「淘宝村」名单。[1]
