遮浪村位于福建省莆田市荔城区黄石镇的沿海地带，东面濒临兴化湾，背后即镇海堤，是一个以农业和渔业为主的村庄。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

唐代在此修筑海堤，堤称镇海堤。村落因为这道堤防而取名遮浪，取遮挡风浪之意。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地在感德乡的范围之内，后划入三区的连江里。民国年间，村落以遮浪乡之名出现，并与海滨一带合为海浪保。新中国成立初，这里归并到遮浪乡；1958年，遮浪改设为黄石公社的大队。[4]

1961年至1965年曾归东甲公社管理，之后重新由黄石公社统辖。1984年改为村，2002年以后归荔城区黄石镇，设遮浪村委会。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇海堤自黄石镇东甲村延伸至遮浪村，堤防工程包括海堤、防波堤和闸门，并有供人车通行的道路。堤的始建年代为唐元和元年，今被视为福建省最早的大型海堤之一。[5][6]
