澄瀛村位于福建省莆田市荔城区黄石镇政府所在地以北约1公里处，北连井后村，南靠黄石集镇。村内有莆田市级文物保护单位北辰宫，澄瀛高跷戏是福建省非物质文化遗产。[1][2][4]

地名由来[edit]

境内原有一口既大且深的池塘，村名因此而来。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

唐代的行政区划已无从考证。宋代至宋末（1063年至1279年）此地属感德乡，明清两代归四区莆田里。1913年起划入第三区黄石镇。[4]

1949年后先归第三区公所，又在水南乡下；1956年转入黄石区水南乡。1958年归黄石人民公社，1961年设澄瀛生产大队，1966年8月被撤销，并入邻近的大队。1972年10月重新析出，恢复为澄瀛生产大队；1984年11月改为黄石镇澄瀛村，2002年以后设澄瀛村委会。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

北辰宫位于村内，主祀北极玄天上帝。明嘉靖四十五年（1566年）始建，清乾隆十四年（1749年）又经重建，建筑格局为二进的廊院。宫内保存有明代画家吴彬的《玄帝出郊图》壁画，属莆田市级文物保护单位。[5]
