三山村位于西天尾镇，村名取自境内自东向西排列的三座山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名因境内自东向西有三座山，即漏头山、馒头山和水晶山，故称三山。[1]

1966年村子并入西天尾人民公社。1984年公社撤销后，村改为乡下的三山村；1989年2月起称西天尾镇三山村，并设立村委会。2002年起属荔城区西天尾镇。[1]

2021年10月，经南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布，村入选「2021年淘宝村」名单；2022年10月，入选「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
