荔浦社区位于拱辰街道东南部，原为荔浦村。地名出自明末，当时村中一条坑沟两岸多生芦苇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属镇海乡的荔浦保，新中国成立后一度属荔宁乡，1955年改为县直属乡；1958年并入城厢公社的荔浦大队，此后随公社体制调整，先后归郊下公社和城郊公社。[1]

2002年划入拱辰街道，成为荔浦村；2018年11月22日起，荔浦村改称荔浦社区居民委员会。[1]
