步云村是福建省莆田市荔城区镇海街道下辖的行政村，位于街道南部，距街道约3公里，依傍木兰大桥。[1]
村名来自明代的「步云书社」：明朝正德年间步云宫重修，莆田人、御史马明衡亲赠书社匾额，村因此得名。[1]

村东面与新度镇港利村接壤，南邻新度港西村，南距离田高速路口约4公里，城港北大道从村中穿过。[1]
人口[edit]
据博雅地名网，全村共362户1246人，土地面积1.2平方千米，共4个村民小组，耕地约160亩，以种植蔬菜为主。[1]
经济[edit]
村中有中小型企业数百家，以制鞋为主导，相关企业并行发展，吸引了大量外来务工人员。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，此地属莆田县阔口保；新中国成立后先后属莆田县第九区、第五区。[1]
1991年由邻村析出，独立建村；2002年为荔城区镇海街道步云村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年10月，步云村被列入「2021年淘宝村」名单，由南京大学空间规划研究中心与阿里研究院联合发布；2022年10月，又被列入「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
