兔洋村位于福建省莆田市涵江区北部山区，西与庄边镇凤际村交界，东邻满长村，南与昆山、孝池、莲峰三村相邻，北靠永泰县青云山风景区。[1][3]

村中根竹一带是饶云山的故里。饶云山是闽中老红军，后任福建省民政厅厅长。村中留有清代古民居多座。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立前，村地属兴化县广业里，成立后属13区满长乡。1954年另设兔洋乡，1956年成立兔洋高级社，1958年编入新县人民公社，设兔洋生产大队；1961年改属新县公社兔洋大队，1965年归大洋公社管理，1984年12月改称莆田县大洋乡兔洋村。[1]

根竹一带是饶云山的故里。他是闽中老红军，后任福建省民政厅厅长。[1]

村落中留有清代古民居多座，木雕、题词与对联资源丰富。[2]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，兔洋村入选2020年福建省森林村庄。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将兔洋村列入「福建省卫生村」拟命名公示名单。2023年11月，兔洋村被认定为2023年度莆田市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1][3]
