满长村位于福建省莆田市涵江区北部，在永兴岩背面的山麓之下。东与院埔村、瑞云山一带接壤，南邻昆山村与莲峰村，北连永泰县青云山。[1][2]

村中有真武宫与壶山宫两座清代宫庙。明末清初，村庄周围曾筑起石墙土寨，以便避难和防御盗匪。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立前，村地属兴化县广业里，成立后属13区满长乡，1954年改属新县区满长乡。1956年设满长高级社，1958年编入新县人民公社，设满长生产大队；1961年改属新县公社满长大队，1965年转属大洋公社满长大队，1984年12月起称莆田县大洋乡满长村。[1]

明末清初时局动荡，盗匪时常出没，村民便在村庄周围修建石墙土寨。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

真武宫始建于乾隆二十二年（1757年），壶山宫则于乾隆三十二年（1767年）落成，两宫后来都有重修，建筑保持着旧时的风格。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，满长村获评2023年福建省卫生村。[1]
