霞洋村位于福建省莆田市涵江区最东部，属大洋乡。东面与福清市东张镇接壤，西侧紧邻坂洋村，南面与新县镇白伏村相连。[1][2]

1948至1949年间，中共闽中地委与闽中游击队在村中的百丈岭、后洋一带活动，村中留有百丈岭战斗旧址、蔡平远家联络站旧址与后洋联络站旧址。[3][4][5]

地名由来[edit]

村旁田洋呈虾状分布，原称虾洋，后谐音雅化为霞洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立后，村地先属13区坂洋乡，1956年并入坂洋高级社，1961年改属大洋公社霞洋大队，1984年12月起称大洋乡霞洋村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

1948年8月，中共闽中地委派饶云山、蔡光宇到大洋开辟革命根据地。蔡光宇在后洋发展党员，建立中共后洋支部并任书记。蔡春莲家在后洋，曾设地下联络站，是闽中支队的重要据点之一，传递情报、掩护游击队都在这里进行。[5]

百丈岭战斗旧址位于村落与福清市东张镇岭下村交界处，是福清至大洋必经山路上的一处高地。1949年7月，闽中支队在此击退来自福清方向的敌军进攻。[3]

蔡平远家的联络站旧址位于后洋自然村，建筑原是两层的土木楼房，共七间厢房。1949年7月，国民党军行动中楼房遭焚毁，此后于1950年依原样在旧址上重建。[4]

文化[edit]

村中现留清代古民居三处，洛阳宫、龟峰寺等庙宇也保存至今。[2]
