洋林村是福建省莆田市涵江区新县镇下辖的行政村，位于新县镇东南部，隔山与夹漈草堂相望。全村辖4个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村中的芗林寺又名修史堂，是宋代史学家郑厚、郑樵著书立说的地方，郑樵曾在此居住约二十年。寺院始建于唐代，现仅存残垣断壁，原莆田县曾将其定为第一批文物保护单位。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村中山地资源丰富，地下蕴藏金属矿、叶腊石、高岭土、花岗石等矿产，还有可供开发的矿泉水。村中有一处落差300多米的瀑布，由多层组成。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村886人、233户，辖12个村民小组，居民分属七姓，以吴、林两姓为多，所载数字未注明年份。[2]

村中枇杷种植面积较大，另有杂果。村内建有一座小型发电站，并为莆田市反季节蔬菜种植基地之一。[2]
