巩溪村隶属福建省莆田市涵江区新县镇，位于涵江区北部山区。村东靠夹漈山，隔溪与庄边镇泮洋村相望，南面与白沙镇宝阳村接壤，北面连着广宫村。全村设17个村民小组。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1926年10月，中共夹漈支部在村中山尾自然村成立，是莆田第一批农村党支部之一。村子后来成为革命老区基点村。[2][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

夹漈山麓的夹漈草堂是宋代史学家郑樵著书之地，草堂的历史与沿革见本镇条目。[2][3][4]

中共莆田夹漈支部旧址在山尾自然村，原为民居，20世纪80年代改建为两层的土木结构房屋。[5]
