文笔村是福建省莆田市涵江区新县镇下辖的行政村，位于涵江区北部山区，东与泗洋村接壤，南与新县村相邻，西与大洋乡可山村交界，北与大所村毗邻。村名取自村东南的文笔峰。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地曾是兴化新县古县城所在，并为兴化县僧会司驻地。明弘治九年（1496年）前后，一名和尚聚众数千人起事，此地成为当时农民起义的据点，该首领在进攻仙游时战死。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村东南的文笔峰又名石竹峰，半山腰有玉皇殿和石竹寺，山上分布着多处崖刻，其中“復我山河”四字题于民国三十年（1941年）夏，为岩壁上的摩崖石刻，属莆田市第九批市级文物保护单位（见本镇条目）。[1][3]

村中的新县文峰宫供奉妈祖，为湄洲妈祖祖庙的分灵宫。兴化县城隍庙始建于元皇庆元年（1312年），明洪武四年（1371年）重建。北面的资国寺曾是兴化县僧会司驻地。[3]

郭洋山的宋元古窑址上，碎瓷片遍布约7500平方米，地层堆积厚度超过1米。[2]
